Wintermeeting shifted to Saturday 26th of March 2022
Because of a couple of members have their skiing holiday at 12th of March, we are pleased changing the date into 26th of March, so they have the opportunity to participate our Wintermeeting at the intimate Borg Ekenstein near Appingedam.
We expect omikron is under control by that time and Borg Ekenstein shall be open to receive all guests of Alcyone Circle.
Till now 16 friends responded they join Wintermeeting mid March 2022.
Springtime then, both nature and people awakening from winter slumber.
The great poet Shelly knew it well: If Winter comes, can Spring be far behind?

Borg Ekenstein is a small country house and only has one lounge that is suitable for us with enough space. Therefore did we take an option yesterday till 11th of February for our meeting at Saturday 26th of March.
Also for those of us who have not responded yet, please let us know a.s.a.p. you shall participate in Wintermeeting 2022, with dinner or dinner with stay overnight.
Based on the number of guests we’ll make a final booking for group accomodation in the lounge, a fine cold and warm buffet ( € 32,50 p.p.) and hotel stay ( €89 continental breakfast included).

As you know we’re doing our very best to keep the Gunning-fleet, our Circle and friendship alive.
It would be great meeting all of you in good health after such a long time.
